In a million years I never thought I'd be an owner of a clothing and accessory boutique. I remember how it started...Alex (the other owner) came to me and told me of an opportunity her Mom presented to her. You see Alex's Mom owns a building that has been on the market for a few years and she decided it was time to make use of it again.
Alex and I began brainstorming like crazy! A coffee shop, or a photography studio, or a bakery, or a rock shop. We went with the last one and we started investing in crystals...LOL seriously this isn't a joke we really did I still have a few which I love and are decorated around my house.
When we began to ponder about what type of business would REALLY serve Logan, UT we decided that maybe a rock shop wouldn't be the best option...which lead to the idea of opening a boutique because there are VERY VERY few up here in Northern, Utah.
Alex and I spent hours and hours and days and days and weeks and weeks creating a business plan for Violet Hill.
We knew that we wanted to open the store and we knew we could do it! I learned through the planning process that attitude is everything. It can be what makes or breaks a business.
